Limits and errors
Monthly lookup quota

Quotas reset at 00:00 UTC on the first of each month. Each submitted IP uses one unit, including unknown addresses and duplicates. Requests stop at the quota; there are no automatic overage charges.
Request limits
- 600 authenticated API requests per minute per account.
- 30 stream connections started per minute per account.
- 100 addresses per batch request.
- 10 active API keys per account.
Downloads and stream events do not consume lookup units.
Errors
Errors return JSON with a detail field.

| 401 | Invalid or revoked key. | Check the Authorization header. |
| 403 | Access denied. | Check your account status and plan. |
| 404 | Resource not found. | Check the endpoint or release ID. |
| 409 | Request conflicts with current state. | Resolve the conflict before retrying. |
| 422 | Invalid input. | Check detail for the rejected field. |
| 429 | Rate limit or monthly quota reached. | Follow Retry-After when provided; check /v1/me for quota usage. |
| 502 / 503 | Service temporarily unavailable. | Retry with backoff and check API status. |
